Wedding photographer? I prefer the term Family Historian. I photograph your wedding for what it is: a marquee event in your family’s history - the families you both come from, and the new one you’re creating.

Your wedding will be a one-night-only event: your college roommates, your cousins, your childhood best friend, all in one place to celebrate you & your partner.

I’m here to photograph not only the main moments, but also everything on the periphery - when your brother dances with your fiance’s grandma, when your mom tears up during the speeches, and when your best friend of twenty years does the worm.

Hello!

I’m a documentary wedding photographer known for delivering a sure-handed and kind-hearted experience to both you and your guests. I seamlessly join your wedding and am just as comfortable chit-chatting with your grandma as I am screaming Mr. Brightside with all of your besties.

I’m Tom, and I adore weddings.

I come from a large, complicated family and am comfortable and adept at navigating family dynamics, communicating clearly & kindly, and adapting to changing circumstances on the fly.

Photographing weddings is my life’s work. Thank you for considering inviting me to your wedding - it’s a privilege.

Weddings As Family Reunions

One of the most meaningful parts of wedding days is to learn where everyone comes from - not just geographically, but from what part of your life.

My own family is spread across the globe. My sisters-in-law live in Toronto and Honduras. My immediate family is spread from Florida to Alaska and many states between. My own wedding party is scattered across New York, Colorado, Massachusetts, Texas, and India.

So for my family & friends, weddings are where we come back together. Where we reconnect. Where we continue our story.

I know this is true for so many couples: even if your own family is not as far flung as mine, weddings are a place to connect, gather, and come together.

So I take this mindset, this approach, this ethos into your wedding day: photograph you, your partner, and the people who mean everything to you.

With this in mind, I’m available to photograph your wedding celebration anywhere in the United States, and at select international destinations.
